Hey hey guys!! X3X3 Well, I'm back from dragon-boating all the way at kallang Swimming place. Gosh.. It stank there.. I mean, seriously, it smelled VERY bad. To make things even worse, there were girls who started complaining non-stop! And not to mention, whining as well!! GRRRRRHHHH!! GOSH! It SO made my day!

Further more, the instructor who was teaching us didn't help much either! He was there, just there. He only taught us some few basics such as how to hold the paddler, the techniques of rowing, backing, holding and splashing -_-;;. The boys didn't really help much too. They were pretty noisy down there but hey! They were having their fun =]] And I think that it's great!! ^^ If only the girls tried to be more out-going and you know, STOP WHINING!!!!

All the while - in the middle of the water - I felt like doing something that would bring the spirit of my team up. Something, just something! I thought, maybe cheering could help, but these boys won't cheer, so.. Forget bout that! And I thought about how we should shout together as one TEAM! With one VOICE! However, again, the instructor is not helping -______-''

And sure enough, my patience, guts and everything inside me was tested! It was a decision that all of US have to make. One, to stay there like idiots, groan and pout or two, just DO SOMETHING about it and make the whole event fun for our experience and memory!

I do realise that boys have mainly win-ridden mindsets and do not actually care much about everything else around them. Example, when you dragon-boat, team spirit and team work is most important. That, I know. And these kids do not know about that I guess =/ one by one they started shouting, "Heck care about the rhythm! Just row row!! Quick!!" And that was totally wrong. I was waiting for the instructor to actually correct them for I have no "power" or "rights" to correct them or anything cuz in the first place, I'm another student who's still learning after all.

Things went on like that for quite some time and I REALLY had the urge to just. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! But I hold myself... And I told myself that I'm just gonna do something about it right at the very last straw if that instructor really aint gonna do aint no nothing about it.

True enough, he didn't do anything about it. So, I requested that all of us sit to the sides of the boat and the guys played - rocking the whole boat from side to side and you can actually hear some people screaming like there's no tomorrow -_- And when everyone has subsided from their excitement, I asked the instructor to teach us something. I received no reply. He was talking to Poh Seng and the others at the back and I think that he was asking them on what we want to be taught on.

Of course, we do not know. Just anything would be fun actually.. Be it the way we should scream together or something. It doesn't really HAVE to be cheers or such =/ But gosh~ It was a total disappointment.. He taught us none and instead just asked us to row and row again.

So, that's what we practically did most of the time - rowing and rowing - until the point of time when the race was about to start. I could hold it no more and decided that I should shout across the whole boat and tell them to do something. And this is wad I said:
"Guys! Let's have some team spirit! Okay? This is our only chance! It's once in a lifetime! So why don't we make full use of it? This is the race! Let's win it! Everyone.. Let's shout together, alright?" (waited for response) "Okay?? And if we win, we will push the instructor into the water! Okay?!?" (reponse).
Well, alright, it wasn't really those words but that's what I meant and hey, the words that came out of my mouth hours ago wasn't that far from those that I wrote, anyway.

We seriously didn't use our time very wisely, not to the point where everyone enjoyed it VERY MUCH but hey, at least, I'm glad and very proud to say that at the end of the day, we still made it =]. It was even said that we could have been the first in the race! Well, in fact, it wasn't really clear whether we were first or second cuz the teachers said that we were reaaaally close and our boat was actually sort of going slant way??

Like so, I guess. I'm not really sure myself. But what I saw was that we arrived first? But Well, some said that the other boat came first XD I'm not sure which boat.. But if I'm not mistaken, it was from the red team HEHE Anyway, winning or losing is not really the most important part of this all (although it could have been since the whole experience was rather a dread to most of us). The fact is that the learning journey on how to row the boat was the most valuable and we've sort of... Lost it. But anyhow, I'm still proud of all of them! Who knows, we might have actually been the best with a lil touch up here and there! ^^ Right guys?? Well, I just hope that it wasn't because of me (cause I felt that I'm partly to blame. I'm sorry!)

Alright! Enough about the dragon-boating experience! Well, went back to school with Yi Si and the teachers just now to return my over-dued story book XD. Jade Green, remember? Yeah~ What took me so long? Lol.. Must be the exams and etceteras. But anyway, it's done and the story is pretty.. Odd. Well, predictable sort of story. Happy ending and yeah.. That's about it. Rather cliché. =/

Anyway, enough of commercialising this book! Back to the story. So, Yi Si and I were there in school. I met Jess U, Steffi, Siska, Jeremy, Fareez.. and Jing Xing too. Well, Yi Si and I chatted through our journey home =] OH! Met Daniel and his friend too! ^o^ Hmm.. He sort of tested my thick-skiness =/ gosh~ I'm hella thick-skinned!

Well, that's it for today and oh! I'm reading a new book currently ^^ It's entitled Tuesdays with Morrie. Bet many of you heard of it before! Yeah!! I hear you.. What is it that you're saying? "It's good!", "It's the best!", "It's really meaningful!" yeah? yeah? "Huh? Haven't heard of that book before!" Oopz! Really?? XD Sorry! HAHA! Well, now you have!! =D=D Wheee
